Brand guidelines and brand book for Diabetes UK

The problem

When Diabetes UK decided to reposition their cause in response to the UK’s growing diabetes crisis, they needed new brand guidelines and a Brand Book to help them implement the changes and keep their identity consistent across their organisation. Creative Switch had the expertise they needed to achieve exactly that.

The solution

Kath worked closely with Copywriter, Danny Wright to create a set of guidelines which reflected their new tone of voice, visual identity and values that are easy to use for everyone who is communicating on behalf of Diabetes UK. The guidelines are visually engaging with lots of practical examples, staying true to their values of keeping it simple and making the information as clear and concise as possible so that the brand can tackle the health crisis with creative consistency.

I had the pleasure of working with Kath on Diabetes UK’s new brand guidelines. Kath puts great investment into listening – she has a rare talent for translating strategic ambition into creative concepts that make sense of it all. Her insight and knack for brilliant, bright ideas means that we can speak to our audiences – tell them our stories – in a way that resonates with them and helps us have impact.”
