Creative process

Here is our simple creative formula to getting good ideas that work

Phase 1 – What is?

The first phase of the creative process is one of the most important and shouldn't been missed out to move onto the more 'fun' parts. This stage is where we discover all the facts and start to understand the problem in-depth that we are solving.

Phase 2 – What if?

Once we've got a handle on the problem we use insights and our imagination to explore what 'could be possible' to solve the brief. It's very important to remove judgement, have an open-mind and expand our thinking so ideas can flourish and grow.

  • Narrative

Phase 3 – What wows?

Once the ideas are out of our heads it's time to see what works based on the objectives and refer to the brief. At this stage we focus on what works, how to tweak ideas and use rational thinking and judgement to eliminate ideas to a few good ones to take forward.

Phase 4 – What now? 

Now is the time to stop generating new ideas and deliver one creative solution. At this stage it's very important to have deadlines, project management and clear schedules to ensure the project has momentum and is delivered on time and in budget.
